2022 Ford F-250
You work hard, and you want a truck that works as hard as you do. The 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty is just that truck. With high-end specifications in every aspect of the design and impressive maximum towing capacities, the F-250 can take what you give it. Here's what people love about the 2022 Ford F-250.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
Six trims are offered for the 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty: the XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited. Starting with the XL, you get quad dual-beam halogen headlights. Opting for the XLT adds a power moonroof for the crew cab configuration. The Lariat has halogen fog lights and PowerScope trailer tow mirrors. Power deployable running boards are added at the Platinum level, while the top-of-the-line Limited adds an available live-drive power takeoff. Adding the Tremor off-road package can make it fun with trail-friendly features that include off-road tires and a lift kit for more clearance.
Engine (Power)
The 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty offers three engine choices. The base engine for all trims is an ample 6.2-liter V-8 gasoline engine that produces up to 385 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque. The first upgrade is a 7.3-liter V-8 gas engine that delivers 430 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque.
If you really want power, you want the 6.7-liter Power Stroke V-8 diesel engine that garners up to 475 horsepower and an astounding 1,050 pound-feet of torque. The standard transmission is a six-speed automatic, with the 10-speed automatic offered at most trim levels. While rear-wheel drive is standard, four-wheel drive is also available for all trims.
Performance
When looking for a work truck, the payload and towing capacities are essential features. Depending on the engine, trim, bed size, and cab size you choose, your max capacities will vary. The highest maximum towing capacity available checks in at 24,000 pounds for a standard hitch and 37,000 pounds for a fifth-wheel. The highest maximum payload capacity comes in at 7,850 pounds.
Interior
The perfect blend of substance and style becomes evident as you sit behind the wheel of a 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty. The standard display for the XL is a nontouch 4-inch display that drives the infotainment system. Starting at the XLT level, however, you'll have an upgraded 8-inch touch screen featuring Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration, as well as a Wi-Fi hot spot.
The higher-end trims upgrade the screen further with a 12-inch touch screen. If you want to rock out while at work or play, opt for the 10-speaker premium Bang & Olufsen stereo system. Finally, for the Lariat on up, you get improvements including ambient lighting, wireless charging, massaging seats, and leather trim, as well as ventilated and heated front seats.
Safety Features
Getting to where you're going safely is of utmost importance, and the 2022 Ford F-250 features many safety and driver assistance features to do just that. One important safety feature is blind-spot monitoring, which works even when pulling a trailer. Optional features include automatic high beams, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. If a crash does happen, the strong frame and advanced air bags will help protect you.
