Design
The new Ford Escape has a standard center console with a convenient media bin for storing your essential items. A premium-wrapped steering wheel comes standard in the new Ford Escape, and the standard 60/40 split-fold seats in the second row can be slid forward or backward to add up to 5.9 inches of additional legroom.
The standard Rotary Gear Shift Dial creates more room for cupholders, a pair of USB ports, and extra console storage space. Meanwhile, higher trims of the Ford Escape have an available LED light bar that illuminates any path you’re on and brings attention to your vehicle on all of its adventures. Access your cargo with just the push of a button thanks to the available Power Liftgate: and don’t forget the optional Panoramic Vista Roof available for the Ford Active and higher trims. This sunroof can slide back or tilt to let in the perfect amount of sunlight.
Technology
Sync 4 technology with an 8-inch touchscreen comes standard on the new Ford Escape. This helps keep you connected through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. From there you can make phone calls, send texts, or view your favorite apps. With available Alexa Built-In, you can perform many of your in-cabin functions through voice activation. This includes changing the temperature, changing the radio station, and accessing your Sync 4 apps.
Charge your devices without a mess of wires thanks to the optional wireless charging pad in your center console! This is available on the Escape Active and higher trims. The optional 360-degree camera system gives you a view of your vehicle’s surroundings for increased safety and more efficiency when parking, and the optional B&O Sound System uses 10 speakers to amplify all of your favorite albums, podcasts, and audiobooks through the Ford Escape’s cabin.

1.5L EcoBoost Engine
This engine boasts an impressive EPA-estimated 27 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway. The 1.5L EcoBoost is standard on the Ford Escape Active.
2.0L EcoBoost Engine
The available 2.0L EcoBoost offers 26 MPG in the city and 32 MPG on the highway according to EPA-estimated ratings.
2.5L I-4 Hybrid Engine
This available engine offers an EPA-estimated 42 city MPG and 36 highway MPG.
Plug-In Hybrid 2.5L I-4 Engine
The available Plug-In Hybrid 2.5L engine offers 101 combined MPGe and an EPA-estimated all-electric range of 37 miles.
