2020 Ford F-150

The Ford F-150 is powerful, versatile, and attractive. This customer favorite is ideal for weekend adventures, tough jobs, or comfortable commutes. You can choose from seven trims: XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, Limited, or Raptor. There are also three bed and cab sizes. Here’s some more information about what’s new about the 2020 F-150 and which features stay the same.

An Attractive Exterior

The 2020 Ford F-150 has the same distinctive looks and muscular, boxy design as the 2019 model, but you can choose a few new options. Three new paint colors are available: Iconic Silver, Rapid Red Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, and Star White Metallic Tri-Coat. The XL comes with a black grille with two horizontal bars and the Ford Blue Oval in the center. Higher trim levels use chrome, and the Limited has a single bar. The grille on the Raptor replaces the oval with “FORD” in large, black letters.

The XL has a removable tailgate, automatic halogen headlights, manually folding side mirrors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. Fog lights, a black mesh grille, deployable side steps, a tailgate step, and heated power side mirrors are optional, and you can choose the STX Sport Appearance Special Edition Package with the XL for the first time. It has 20-inch wheels, an STX decal, sport stripes, and a chrome exhaust extension. A power-sliding rear window and a moonroof are available with the XLT, and the new XLT Black Appearance Package has black running boards, black aluminum wheels, and a black mesh grille.

A Comfortable, High-Tech Interior

The 2020 F-150 has the same comfortable, convenient interior as the 2019 model. It comes with an outdoor temperature display, folding front seats, flip-up rear seats, and a 12-volt power outlet.

You can add a 110-volt outlet, a 4.2-inch screen, cruise control, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. SiriusXM satellite radio, voice recognition, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility are available as well. The XLT has a Wi-Fi hot spot, and you can choose heated front seats with red accents. The Lariat has an 8-inch screen, Ice Blue ambient lighting, push-button start, ventilated seats, power-adjustable pedals with memory settings, and dual-zone climate control. A universal garage door opener, heated steering wheel, and a 10-speaker sound system are optional. The King Ranch, the Platinum, and the Limited have wood accents as well.

Better Safety

Like the 2019 model, the 2020 Ford F-150 has roll stability control, a rearview camera, pre-collision assistance with automatic emergency braking, and an anti-theft system. The 2020 version adds dynamic hitch assistance to help you see when backing up with a trailer and a blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert. Additional options include an auto-dimming rearview mirror and a reverse sensing system to warn you about objects behind you.
