2020 Ford Super Duty

The 2020 Ford Super Duty is durable, capable, and fun to drive. It’s proudly assembled in the United States at Ford’s plants in Avon, Ohio, and Louisville, Kentucky. With the new Tremor package, you take care of weekday work and enjoy off-road adventures. This package is available with the XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, or Platinum F-250 and F-350. However, you can only get it with single-rear-wheel SuperCrew trucks that have 6.75-foot beds. This is the configuration that’s best for off-roading. Here’s some more information about the features that come with the 2020 Super Duty’s new Tremor package.

An Upgraded Exterior

The 2020 Super Duty’s grille has a more open look than the 2019 model, and it still has the Ford Blue Oval in the center. The more open grille increases airflow to the engine, and stylish LED headlights wrap around it. New wheel designs send more air to the brakes as well. With the Tremor package, you’ll also get skid plates to protect the undercarriage from rocks and debris, 10.8 inches of ground clearance, 18-inch wheels with a matte black finish, and 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac maximum-traction all-terrain tires.

There’s a Tremor decal on the side of the truck bed near the tailgate and on the shocks. The off-road running boards are close to the Super Duty’s body to keep them safe on rough trails, and they have holes in them for easy washing. With the Platinum trim, the running boards are retractable.

Awesome Off-Road Abilities

The Tremor package is ideal for camping in a remote spot or taking an ATV to a tough trail. Thanks to a 2-inch front end lift and a shorter air dam that’s 5 inches higher, it can go through up to 33 inches of water. That’s enough to cover the vehicle almost to the headlights. Specially tuned approach and departure angles will keep this truck stable when going over large rocks.

Advanced Technology

The 2020 Super Duty’s Tremor package comes with Trail Control, a system that lets you choose powertrain configurations based on the environment you’re driving in. It includes Rock Crawl, Normal, Tow/Haul, Eco, Slippery, and Deep Snow/Sand modes. Ford’s Trailer Reverse Guidance camera system now works with fifth wheel and gooseneck trailers as well as conventional models, and the Super Duty gets the Pro Trailer Backup Assist on the F-150.

The Super Duty Tremor package also has progressive-rate springs, customized 1.7-inch piston twin-tube dampers, internal hydraulic rebounding, and a rear stabilizer bar. It also comes with a locking rear differential that uses an electronic engagement system and a Dana limited-slip front differential. These features send power where you need it most to keep traction high on uneven surfaces.
