2021 Ford Bronco

The Ford Bronco was a favorite of drivers everywhere, and the disappointment at its discontinuing in the late ’90s has never quieted. Fortunately, Ford listened to its drivers and the Internet erupted at the announcement of a new Bronco releasing in 2020. The 2021 Bronco Sport is on our doorstep, and it’s well worth the wait. Here’s what you need to know.

Limitless Off-Road Capability

The 2021 Bronco Sport is built to be unrestrained by terrain or by where the road ends. It all starts with the Terrain Management System and the G.O.A.T. drive modes. The G.O.A.T. (Goes Over Any Type of Terrain) modes include Sand, Slippery, Sport, Eco, and Normal, and the Badlands model adds Mud/Ruts and Rock Crawl modes to the G.O.A.T.

The 2021 Bronco Sport’s standard 4×4 system complements these modes by balancing power between all four wheels to maximize traction. The Advanced 4×4 takes this capability to the next level with a twin-clutch rear-drive unit that can drive torque to a single rear wheel so you can overcome obstacles even when the rest of your wheels don’t have any traction. No matter the terrain, every journey with the 2021 Bronco Sport will be smooth thanks to the vehicle’s advanced suspension features. This suspension system includes tuned front struts with hydraulic rebound stops and 46 mm diameter monotube rear shocks.

The Bronco Sport begs to go off-road with its 180-degree camera and Trail Control for Off-Road. Trail Control is cruise control minus the asphalt. With it, you can set your speed and the Bronco will do the rest, allowing you to focus on navigating the trail. The 180-degree camera makes it even easier to conquer the off-road by giving you a clear view of your surroundings. Even rivers and streams won’t be able to stop you thanks to the Bronco Sport’s 23.6 inches of water fording.

Beastly Performance

The 2021 Bronco Sport boasts two powerful engine options. Standard on the Bronco Sport is the 1.5-liter EcoBoost that generates 181 horsepower and 190 pounds-per-foot of torque. Upgrade to the Badlands or First Edition trim for the more powerful 2.0-liter that will throw you back into your seat with 245 horsepower and 275 pounds-per-foot of torque. That 2.0-liter also comes equipped with the Advanced 4×4 system. Both Bronco Sport engines are supplemented by an eight-speed transmission that shifts smoothly regardless of your speed or terrain.

Trail-Ready Technology

While power and capability are certainly important, you can’t properly enjoy your driving experience without entertainment and convenient technology features. The 2021 Bronco Sport will keep you connected no matter how far the trail takes you thanks to the Ford SYNC 3 infotainment system. Keep your hands on the wheel and access SYNC 3’s features with voice activation, and connect your smart device using Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. With SYNC 3, you can not only play music, but also make phone calls, access navigational information, and much more.

Other convenient tech features include a wireless charging pad, rear floodlights for illuminating the outdoors at night, and more.

Don’t be restrained by your vehicle’s limited capabilities any longer. The 2021 Bronco Sport can take you to the limits of your imagination and then some. When the 2021 Bronco releases later this year, come down to Hutch Ford for a test drive.
