Ford Mustang Shelby GT350

The 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 coupe is attractive and exciting to drive. It’s named after Carroll Shelby, the person who designed the first generation of Ford Mustangs in the 1960s. Here’s some more information about this popular sports car.

An Attractive, Sporty Exterior

The 2019 Shelby GT350 has muscular styling, hood vents, and a sleek, sculpted look. It comes with 19-inch carbon fiber wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, and a new rear spoiler with improved aerodynamics. Other standard features include power, manually folding side mirrors and an Easy Fuel capless fuel filler to prevent spills and fuel theft. The GT350 also has dual exhaust with electronic valves and quad tips, and you can add racing stripes and a black roof.

Powerful Performance

This pony car delivers outstanding performance on the racetrack or the open road. It can reach 60 miles per hour in just 4.3 seconds, and its steering is responsive and maneuverable. It comes with a naturally aspirated, hand-assembled, 5.2-liter V-8 engine with a flat-plane crankshaft. It has a redline of 8,250 rpm, the highest that Ford has ever produced, a differential cooler, and a transmission cooler. It produces 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque with premium fuel, and you can get 14 miles per gallon in the city or 21 mpg on the highway.

The GT350 also comes with an independent rear suspension and a MagneRide Damping System for a smooth ride. It’s attached to a six-speed manual transmission, and a 10-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters is optional. Ford’s standard selectable-effort power steering lets you choose Normal, Comfort, or Sport modes for the steering responsiveness you prefer.

An Appealing Interior

The 2019 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350’s interior is mostly the same as the base Mustang. The front seats have plenty of head and legroom, and the GT350 has a comfortable, quality interior with controls that are easy to use. Standard RECARO cloth seats are new for 2019, and there’s a unique, race-inspired Shelby shift knob. The steering wheel’s flat bottom gives you an easier grip, and it has convenient buttons and the Shelby Cobra logo. You can get performance metrics for your Shelby instantly through the 4.2-inch message center in the instrument cluster.

This car also comes with dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless entry, push-button start, a universal garage door opener, two USB ports, voice activation, compatibility with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a nine-speaker sound system, and folding rear seats.

You can also add navigation, heated and cooled power leather front seats, a CD player, and a 12-speaker premium sound system with a subwoofer. The GT350 offers a variety of safety features as well. Integrated blind spot mirrors for the side mirrors are standard, and blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are available.
